Our practice originated from the merger in 1997 of two local and respected firms, Halliday & Stainlay, and A.D. Mitchell and Co. Ted Halliday commenced legal practice in Murwillumbah in 1891, with a branch office at Coolangatta. Mr Halliday teamed up with Leo Stainlay after the Second World War, beginning a successful partnership.
We are proud of our origins and today continue to provide a friendly and supportive environment with traditional family values.
