Earth Beer Company
Our story began on a working avocado farm overlooking Wollumbin (Mt. Warning), in an old tin packing shed nestled in the red earth of the Tweed Valley. Fueled by a deep love for this land, we’re all about making time for the good things, a morning surf and a cold, crisp beer to finish the day. Where better than a shed which for decades was a local hub where farmers gathered to pack fruit and vegetables and share a yarn. It was a true community meeting point.Thirty years on, not much has changed, local farmers still pull up on tractors for a cold one.
We figured you can’t have a beautiful place without fresh local beer and you can’t have great beer without great people. That’s what Earth Beer Company is all about, bringing people together from all walks of life to celebrate our region and its incredible produce.
We hand-pick avocados, mangoes, blueberries, mulberries, sweet potato and ginger straight from our 25-acre farm and brew them into seasonal, small-batch beers. From our avo Kölsch to our mango weisse, berry sours and ginger beer, every sip is a true farm-to-fermenter experience. Nothing goes to waste, all farm by-products return to the soil and our spent grain feeds local farm animals.
Our beers are crafted using solar power, packaged minimally and delivered locally. Every step is taken with sustainability in mind.
Our customer service philosophy is simple, treat everyone like a mate. We go above and beyond, supporting local sports clubs, schools, charities, fundraisers and fellow farmers. We’re deeply embedded in our community- co-owner Tom Lee Lewes flies with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Richard is a firefighter and Zeke was once part of the Stone & Wood crew. We’re proud to be one of the Northern Rivers’ most loved breweries.
