The Tweed business community came together in style on Friday 26 June for the 2026 Tweed Business Awards, with approximately 280 local business leaders and professionals gathering at Twin Towns Club to celebrate excellence across the region.
Proudly presented by the Tweed Chamber of Commerce, the event marked the culmination of months of planning by the Chamber’s dedicated committee. This year’s “Sparkle and Shine” theme set the tone for a vibrant and uplifting afternoon, with guests embracing the occasion and contributing to an atmosphere of energy and celebration from the moment doors opened.
The Chamber extends its sincere appreciation to the event’s valued sponsors – Victory Auto World, Twinnies Gives, Tweed Shire Council, Commonwealth Bank, SEE Group, Cake the Creative Agency, BNI Gold Coast & Tweed Shire, Big Rock Digital, EML, Solo Resource Recovery, IC Signs, Tweed Valley Weekly and Business NSW. Their ongoing support, together with the commitment of the Chamber committee, plays a vital role in delivering an event that reflects the strength, resilience and diversity of the Tweed business community.
Set against the backdrop of Jack Evans Boat Harbour, the afternoon began with informal networking, providing an opportunity for attendees to connect, share ideas and strengthen local partnerships. The sense of community was evident throughout, highlighting the collaborative spirit that underpins the region’s business landscape.
Shining a Light on Excellence
The awards ceremony was expertly hosted by Ellen Briggs, whose warmth and humour ensured an engaging and enjoyable program. Guests were treated to a high-quality luncheon prepared by the Twin Towns team, complementing the celebratory atmosphere.
As proceedings commenced, finalists awaited the announcement of each category with anticipation. Winners and Highly Commended recipients were revealed to enthusiastic applause, recognising the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals across a wide range of industries. From emerging enterprises to established leaders, each finalist demonstrated the innovation, dedication and resilience that continue to drive the Tweed forward.
