Pioneer Country is a family-owned wedding and events venue set on a private 170-acre cattle property in the beautiful Tweed hinterland, just 10 minutes from Gold Coast Airport, beaches and accommodation.

Owned by the Sullivan family since 1892, Pioneer Country combines genuine country hospitality with professional event planning, in-house catering and one of the Tweed’s most unique event settings.

Best known for weddings, we also host corporate events, Christmas parties, gala dinners, awards nights, celebrations and community events, from intimate gatherings through to events of 220 guests.

Our estate features a country chapel, multiple outdoor event spaces, a fully licensed barn-style restaurant, large dance floor, extensive off-street parking and sweeping rural and ocean views. Our chefs create personalised menus with a strong focus on local Tweed Valley produce, and our venue is licensed for live music and celebrations until midnight.
