Stacks/the Law Firm Tweed Heads is a dynamic legal practice which is operated by local solicitors Tony Mitchell, Kel Connelly and David Crossan.

Our practice originated from the merger in 1997 of two local and respected firms, Halliday & Stainlay, and A.D. Mitchell and Co. Ted Halliday commenced legal practice in Murwillumbah in 1891, with a branch office at Coolangatta. Mr Halliday teamed up with Leo Stainlay after the Second World War, beginning a successful partnership. Tony Mitchell commenced legal practice in Tweed Heads in 1985.

We are proud of our origins and today continue to provide a friendly and supportive environment with traditional family values.
